Macotto Co., Ltd. is established by two enthusiasts of foreign cultures and food, Suzutaro and Rieko.Through years of living and travelling abroad, Suzutaro and Rieko were fascinated by each country’s food cultures while deepening their understanding of foreign cultures. 

Now that sake and Japanese whisky are well-liked and gaining many fans overseas, they believe domestically produced spirits such as gin and plum wine also have diversity and potential to fit in foreign food cultures.Their mission is to provide the world with Japanese liquor with a concentrated aroma unique to the region of Japan based on the knowledge they have gained visiting breweries, distillers, and spirits specialty stores, and offer and propose products to meet the client’s demands.
